- Electrical Conduction System: SA node, AV node, bundle of His, Purkinje fibers

- Cardiac Cycle: Systole, diastole, heart sounds
- Hemodynamics: Blood flow, blood pressure regulation
- Autonomic Regulation: Role of sympathetic & parasympathetic systems
Practical Activity:
- ECG Recording & Interpretation: Understanding PQRST waves, arrhythmia

Session 2 - The Respiratory System

- Upper & Lower Respiratory Tract: Nasal cavity, trachea, bronchi, lungs
- Alveoli & Gas Exchange Surfaces
- Diaphragm & Intercostal Muscles in Breathing
Physiology Topics:
- Mechanics of Breathing: Inspiration, expiration, lung volumes
- Gas Exchange & Transport: Oxygen & carbon dioxide transport in blood
- Regulation of Respiration: Role of medulla & chemoreceptors
Practical Activity:
- Spirometry Test: Measuring lung volumes & capacities
- Capnography Demonstration: CO₂ monitoring & waveform analysis
- Oxygen Therapy Setup: Nasal cannula vs. mask delivery
